Ethnic tourism Itinerary: 2 nights 3 days (Drive Tour)

Day 1. After breakfast, start the journey from San Phaxay guesthouse at 8-9 am. Travel to Nawai village, Lue ethnic group. Take a photo at the Nawai village temple, Lue ethnic group. Then go to Ba Mon Naten, Roe ethnic group. Take a photo and go to Spa village, Jipia ethnic group. Then go to Jakham Dang village, Akha Jipia ethnic group. After taking a photo, go to Thao Duang village, Lao Bit ethnic group. Then go to San Nam Lan village, Akha Chi Pia ethnic group. Then, go to Pang Kha village, Akha Nukui ethnic group. Then go to Huai Soum village, Khong Nukui ethnic group. Then go to Nam Hli village, Akha Pisho ethnic group. We spend the night at the ethnic group village. Before going to bed, there is a massage, this type of Akha culture.

Day 2. After breakfast, depart from the ethnic village at 8-9 am

Go to the Oma Akha Oma ethnic village in Bounneua district. Take a photo or if you are interested in buying ethnic goods, you can ask for many types of ethnic clothing, shirts and blouses. After that, continue to the Hor ethnic village in Ban Noi. Then continue to the Akha ethnic village in Ban Hui Ying, Pi So ethnic group. Then continue to the Akha village of Nukui ethnic group. Then continue to the village of Ban Pang Chu, Akha ethnic group. Then return to the Lao Yang guest house in Bounneua district at 5:30 pm. Have lunch. After dinner, at 6-7 pm, come and watch the literary performance of the ethnic group at Nam Yot Mai village, Bounneua district.

Day 3. After breakfast, we set off from Lao Yang at 8-9 am.

Go to see the 400-year-old tea farm at the Komen village, the Phounoy tribe in Phongsaly district. We can drink, ask for prices, and wait for each other. There is a house there that displays 400-year-old tea. After that, we go to see Phou fa, the highest mountain in Phongsaly province, about 2000 meters high. When we climb Phou fa, we can see the whole of Phongsaly province. We can take pictures and enjoy the beautiful views. If anyone climbs Phou fa, it is because of the pictures that they do not want to return to the village. The beautiful views are breathtaking. After visiting, we return to Boun Nuea district. We finish our ethnic tourism program. The next day, you can go to Vientiane  Vietnam or take a plane to Luang Prabang and Luang Namtha.

  • Purchasing handicrafts is highly appreciated, but do not purchase antiques.
